While in a nursing home in Phoenix, I walked into a room and observed an elderly man sitting in a contracted position in a wheel chair. I placed my hand upon his shoulder. I asked him if he knew that God loved him and had a wonderful plan for his life. He said “yes.” I then asked him if something were to happen today if he knew for sure that he would go to heaven to be with Jesus. He was not sure that he would go to heaven, so I continued with the gospel script. He then rededicated his life to the Lord. After I prayed for his healing he said ” I want to pray for you now.” He said “Lord, thank you for sending this angel here today. I thank you for illuminating my path and showing me what you have for me to do in this place.” He just kept saying over and over again, “Lord, thank you for sending this angel here today to pray for me and remind me of you.” I must admit I did have tears in my eyes when he was thanking the Lord for bringing me to his nursing home. This was a nursing home which initially said we could only pray with the patients in the hallways and dining areas. After we arrived, the nursing home administrator gave us permission to go into all of the rooms and pray with everyone.
